Additionally, family members who appeared together also cleared the exam.
In response to these allegations, the state home minister assured the public, "We will examine the complaints and ensure a fair system. All agencies conducting exams face complaints, but this time, we must address the seriousness of these allegations."
The minister acknowledged long-standing complaints about the KPSC recruitment process. He mentioned steps taken by the government and the Chief Minister to address these issues, including changing secretaries and reforming the system. However, he emphasized the need for specific individuals, such as the secretary or chairman, to take responsibility if such irregularities persist.
With the government's decision to conduct approximately 56,000 recruitments, Minister Parameshwara stressed the importance of a just and transparent process. He assured the public that necessary steps would be taken to prevent further confusion and ensure fairness.
According to sources, the recently announced results have shortlisted candidates for interviews. Some applicants have demanded a fair investigation into the alleged irregularities and corruption, calling for the results to be withheld until a proper probe is conducted.
